Our next meeting will be Monday, April 8th at 6:30 p.m. We will meet at our usual location (21 Hunter Place). Our topic will be "Quinoa, Amaranth, and Buckwheat, oh my!" and we will have a very special cooking demo by Barbara Moore. She'll be making a delicious quinoa recipe for all of us to try. If you haven't tried quinoa yet (why not!), this is a perfect chance to do that.
As always, we'll have samples and giveaways from great companies like Crunchmaster crackers.
Hope to see you then!
Our next meeting is Monday, March 18th (note this is the 3rd Monday instead of our usual 2nd Monday) at 6:30pm.
We also have a change of location for this meeting only—our usual room is booked for the 18th, so we will be meeting at the North/South Conference room, directly off the cafeteria, at the main hospital (205 Palmer Ave. Bellefontaine). Call if you need directions.
Our topic will be “Safe or Not Safe: Controversial Ingredients and the GF Diet.” We will also have giveaways of MANY new Glutino items. You won’t want to miss this!
Just a reminder that our next meeting is Monday, January 14th at 6:30 p.m. (one week from tonight). Our topic will be “Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More than We Think.” Trust me, this is one you won’t want to miss!
Just a reminder that our September meeting is on the 3rd Monday of this month.
We are meeting on Monday, September 17th at 6:30 p.m.
Our topic will be "What's New?"--I promise to update you on many new things that have happened in the GF world in the last month! Plus, we'll be sampling the new "Goodbye Gluten" bread--a new product that is getting RAVE reviews online. And as always, coupons and all sorts of other goodies.
Hope to see you there!
Just a reminder that we will NOT meet tonight (our normal 2nd Monday of the month meeting). We will instead meet next Monday, May 21st. We will have a special guest speaker from On Track Nutrition (an energy bar company located right here in Bellefontaine!) We will also be celebrating our 2nd anniversary as a support group, and celebrating Celiac Awareness Month!
Our next meeting is Monday, February 13th at 6:30 p.m. In honor of Heart Month, our topic is:
The Gluten-Free Mediterranean Diet. Can it Reduce the Risk of Heart Disease?
As always, we'll have samples from Kay's Naturals, Toosies' Gluten-Free, and a special Valentine's Day treat. Don't miss it!
If the weather would be bad, please call me at (937) 651-6428 to see if we are meeting, or listen to WPKO 98.3 Bellefontaine. Hopefully we'll luck out.
Our next meeting is Monday, January 9th. In honor of the new year, we’ll be doing a food-label reading review and update, as well as talking about where we are with new GF food labeling laws.
We’ll be sampling BiAglut GF pasta as well!

Against The Grain Gourmet is donating yummy pizzas for us to sample! I had a chance to try this product at a recent conference, and I think you will be VERY pleased. We’ll be baking them fresh while we meet, so they will be hot and delicious! :-) http://www.againstthegraingourmet.com/
